I've been thinking a lot about the tragedy involving Jela Shermarke "Jela Baby" Marshall. It's so tough for the family and friends to come to terms with such a sudden loss. One aspect that I find really troubling is the impact it must have had on Jela's kids. Losing a parent at such a young age is something no child should have to go through. It's clear from what I've read that Jela was surrounded by a big family who cared deeply for him. I hope they find some comfort and strength in each other during this incredibly difficult time. If anyone has suggestions for how to support families in these situations, I’m sure it would be appreciated by many here.
