I've been following the case of Lamont LaKeith Cameron and it's truly devastating to think about what his family is going through, especially with those innocent kids witnessing such a traumatic event. It makes me wonder how this violence impacts children, even when they're physically unharmed. The psychological effects must be immense, and it breaks my heart that they had to experience this.
There's been a lot of discussion about gun violence in our community, and seeing it hit so close to home is a wake-up call. We need to consider how we're raising awareness about the impact of these crimes beyond just the immediate victims. I hope there's some counseling or support available for the children involved so they can process what happened and not carry the weight of this tragedy as they grow up.
On another note, I'm thankful for the strength and unity shown by Cameron's family in urging the community to help find the perpetrators. Their call for justice and peace is something we all should rally behind. If anyone has information, however small, it could be crucial in bringing those responsible to justice and taking a step towards healing for everyone involved.

It’s just far too common, and senseless losses like Lamont’s shouldn’t keep happening. Justice for Lamont isn’t just about finding who’s responsible, but also about ensuring a safer environment where others don’t have to suffer this same fate.
