I've been following the case of Frank Jones closely and something about the timing of the arrest and indictment keeps puzzling me. From what I can gather, Thompson was arrested and charged right on April 26, 2022, but it wasn't until over a year later that the grand jury indicted him. I'm curious about this gap. I wonder what new evidence might have surfaced to finally push the indictment through in 2023. It's so tough thinking about how Frank's family must have felt with this long wait - seeking justice while grappling with deep loss must be incredibly difficult. Anyone else have thoughts on why this might have unfolded this way?

Hey fellow sleuths, I've been following the case of E.F. "Frank" Jones, and something has been bothering me about the initial discovery at his residence. Responding to a harassment complaint, the police stumbled upon Frank's body. Does anyone know more about the details of that complaint? Was it related to Frank and the suspect, Herbert Whitney Thompson Jr., in any way? I'm curious if this could provide more context about their relationship or if it was just an unfortunate coincidence. It's troubling to think about, and my heart goes out to Frank’s family during this difficult time. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated. Stay safe, [A username]

Hey everyone, I've been looking into the tragic case of Frank Jones from Hartselle, and something's been bugging me. I noticed that both Frank and the suspect, Herbert Whitney Thompson Jr., are quite old. It makes me wonder if there’s more to their history than we're aware of. It's not every day you see a case involving senior citizens turning so violent. Could there have been a long-standing dispute between the two? Maybe involving business or personal matters from their past? Frank had such a long career and seemed to be a family man, and it must be tough for his family to not only lose him in such a horrific manner but to also deal with the drawn-out legal process. I hope they find some peace and closure as things progress. Just curious if anyone's heard talk around Hartselle or knows if there's a deeper story behind their relationship. Sending thoughts to all those affected by this. ?
