It's been over a year since Dwight D'Angelo Thomas was taken away from us in such a senseless act of violence. I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends have gone through since that evening. The fact that his life ended so suddenly, and inside a stolen car no less, just adds layers to the tragedy. It's alarming how gun violence seems to be a constant threat in our communities. I came across an article recently that mentioned how ShotSpotter technology was used to alert law enforcement to the scene. This makes me wonder about its effectiveness in preventing these kinds of tragic outcomes. Are we really any closer to solving these cases or stopping them from happening in the first place? We owe it to Dwight and others like him to push for more concrete solutions to fight these crimes. My heart goes out to everyone affected by his loss.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Dwight D'Angelo Thomas, and something that’s been really weighing on my mind is the stolen Audi SUV that he was found in. It makes me wonder how or why he ended up in that car—was he involved in the theft, or did he unknowingly become a victim in a tangled situation? It's one of those details that could potentially open a lot of doors in this investigation. It’s devastating thinking about someone so young, with their whole life ahead of them, being caught up in such a tragic event. If the car was indeed linked to other crimes, it could help connect dots. I hope someone out there saw or heard something that can shed light on how Dwight ended up in that situation. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are dealing with this unimaginable loss. Hoping for justice to be served and some closure for all who knew him. Stay safe, everyone, and keep looking out for one another.
