Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the emotional aftermath within the Alabama A&M community following Chi Ari-Hasan McDade’s tragic passing. I didn’t know Chi personally, but from what I've gathered, her involvement with the cheerleading squad was a big part of her life. Being a student and part of a tight-knit team like that often builds strong relationships and support systems. I can only imagine the sense of loss and grief her teammates and friends are experiencing.
It’s commendable that the university stepped up by offering counseling services. It’s so important for communities to come together during times like these and support those who are struggling. If anyone here is from A&M or knows someone who is, how’s the mood on campus these days? Are there any remembrance events or things being planned to honor her memory?
Sending love to everyone affected by this tragedy.
I was just thinking about the impact Chi's death must have had on her fellow students and cheerleading squad at Alabama A&M. Losing someone so vibrant and talented is a tough blow, especially for those who shared experiences and dreams with her. The fact that the university provided counseling services shows that they really cared about helping the community navigate through such a difficult time. It's heartening to see that support was available, but I can only imagine how many of her friends and teammates still feel her absence every day. It's just a reminder of how vital it is to support one another in the aftermath of these senseless tragedies. Sending strength to all who continue to grieve Chi.
