It's a small comfort, but I hope that coming together to share memories and celebrate his life brought a little bit of peace to those who loved him. This tragic event really highlights how pressing the need is for better conflict resolution resources and community engagement. I can’t help but wonder how things might have been different if there had been more available options for de-escalation or mediation in our community.
