On September 29, 2024, 49-year-old Katrina Dawn Serrano was fatally shot in Lancaster, California. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Avenue L-4, where deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Serrano with gunshot wounds; she was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
