Alejandra Coronado-Cardona, 37, was found fatally stabbed in the 3300 block of Sherman Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., on March 8, 2015. The discovery came at approximately 8:11 a.m. on a Sunday and prompted a Metropolitan Police Department homicide investigation.

Her killing was one of two homicides in the Columbia Heights neighborhood within a 12-hour period, prompting community concern and a police reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Despite that reward and ongoing inquiries, there have been no public announcements of arrests or identified suspects, and the case later went cold.

Anyone who knew Alejandra, saw something in Columbia Heights that morning, or has information that could help should contact the Metropolitan Police Department.
