I can't stop thinking about how senseless violence affects entire communities. I didn't know JaMarcus, but I attended his funeral to support a friend who did. The service at the House of Prayer Christian Church was truly moving. Reverend David Perry did a heartfelt job officiating, offering some peace in such a difficult time. It's evident from all the stories and memories shared that JaMarcus was a beloved figure, and hearing about the lives he touched was both inspiring and incredibly sad. It’s so devastating to see someone with so much potential have their life ended this way. I really hope the Selma Police Department gets the information they need soon. These acts leave such a ripple effect beyond just the victims involved. My heart goes out to JaMarcus's family and friends as they face this unimaginable tragedy. I know our community can pull together and find justice for him; we can't let this become just another unsolved case. If anyone has the slightest detail, please go to the authorities. Let's help stop this cycle of violence.
