Has anyone else found it odd that Ronald Santiesteban just walked away from the facility during his evaluation? I know we're talking about an adult who made his own decision, but I can't help but wonder what the circumstances of his evaluation were. It's been 16 years, and we still don't have any clarifications on what prompted him to leave. Was he in distress, confused, or simply looking to start anew somewhere? I find it strange that no other details have emerged about his mental state or the specifics of the evaluation he was undergoing. It seems unlikely that someone can just disappear without leaving a trace in this day and age, especially with the resources law enforcement supposedly had at their disposal. What are people's theories on this? Could there have been more going on that we don’t know about?
