It's so puzzling about the smashed cell phone found in Lance Wilaby’s abandoned car. Why would it be left behind like that? It feels like such a deliberate move, almost like someone wanted to cut off all forms of contact or traceability. Did he do this himself, or is it possible someone else might have done it after he disappeared? ? Also, the fact that the right rear tire was missing is strange—like maybe he was trying to signal something or it was part of another event that didn’t go as planned. I wonder if the Highway 80 Rescue Mission has any records of him actually showing up or if there were any sightings around that time. Hope there's an update soon.
I was digging through some old news archives and came across a similar case where a car was found abandoned with just one tire missing. It got me thinking about Wilaby's car situation. When his brother found the missing wheel at 300 Crescent Drive, did anyone ever check with the residents or neighbors in that area? It seems odd for a tire to be just lying around like that. Maybe someone saw something but didn't realize its importance at the time. Has there been any follow-up in that neighborhood? Might be worth revisiting. Also, the fact that keys were left in the ignition makes me wonder if he left in a hurry or if someone else is involved. Would love to hear thoughts on this!

Father stated in September that Lance had called either his brother or his daughter but later posted in October that Lance is still missing. His brother states he found Lance's wheel in front of a house at 300 Crescent Drive in Terrell, Tx, and that his car had been towed to auction. His brother evicted him from his apartment the day he went missing.

Was Lance on parole? Is it possible that he disappeared willingly? It has been awhile since he has been gone.
