Has anyone else been following the aftermath of the Austin Street incident in Anchorage? My heart goes out to Geoffrey Sorden’s loved ones who, no doubt, are grappling with this tragic loss. But I can't stop thinking about the role Nathan Mattie played in all of this. It's deeply unsettling to imagine someone orchestrating such a dangerous situation. How do you ever wrap your mind around the involvement of people you know in crimes like this? I've heard a lot about the trauma it can cause to families on all sides. I wonder how communities begin to heal after something so tragic. My thoughts are with them as they try to come to terms with what happened. Also, that arrest of Premo sounded intense, right? I can’t imagine the fear and adrenaline both he and the officers must have felt during that pursuit. It's like something straight out of an action movie—but unfortunately, this is real life with real consequences. Sharing this space with you all to learn more and process these events together.
