It's incredibly hard to grasp how senseless acts of violence like this can happen. My heart goes out to Edwin Richardson’s family and friends as they navigate the aftermath of his tragic passing. Something that's been on my mind is the role of community surveillance in this case. It's unsettling but also somewhat reassuring to know there's video evidence that helped pin down the suspects. I keep thinking about how this technology has become a double-edged sword in our world today. It can invade privacy, but in cases like this, it seems instrumental in moving towards justice. Can anyone shed light on how frequently community footage like this actually contributes to solving violent crimes? I'm hopeful that Edwin's loved ones find some semblance of peace and that cases like this encourage more neighborhoods to use technology to foster safer environments.
