The aftermath of this horrific event has left me thinking about the children of those who lost their lives. I can't imagine what Markeisha Gettings' family, especially any kids she might have, are going through right now. It’s a nightmare scenario for any child to suddenly lose a parent in such a violent manner. As a community, I hope we can rally around these families, offering whatever support we can to help them through this. I also hope the authorities expedite the investigation to bring some degree of closure to the grieving families. If anyone in the area knows anything, please come forward – these innocent lives deserve justice.
I can't shake the empathy I feel for Markeisha Gettings' family after the tragedy that unfolded at the nightclub. I was reading about the nature of the shooting, and it seems so senseless and cruel.
