Hey everyone, I've been following the discussions here about the tragic case of Rusty Andrews, and there's a detail that's really been on my mind. I can't stop thinking about the AA meeting place where his body was found. It feels like such a betrayal — a space meant for healing and recovery was turned into a crime scene. I wonder about the community there. They must be deeply shaken, considering that many might have known him personally. Spaces like that are supposed to be safe havens, and something like this just shatters the sense of trust and sanctuary people rely on. My thoughts are with Rusty's family and all those who were touched by his life. Does anyone else have insight into how the AA community in Tuscaloosa is dealing with the aftermath? It would be encouraging to hear about any support systems or actions they've taken to rebuild that sense of safety and solidarity.
