Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Devadney "Pookie" Lauderdale’s tragic death, and it’s been weighing heavily on my mind. Something that stands out to me is the impact this has had on his family, especially his kids. I can't even begin to imagine what they’re going through right now. Losing a parent is one thing, but to such violence adds another layer of trauma. I hope they’re surrounded by love and support. Also, I noticed that Pookie worked at Nemak and then at Velcon Filters. Does anyone have any insight into whether these workplaces have offered any kind of support or statement for the family or about the case? It seems like it would be a decent thing for former employers to acknowledge his contribution and perhaps help raise awareness around the investigation.
