Hey everyone, I've been closely following the details on Joaquin Velilla's disappearance. During my dive into the case, I've started to wonder about the conditions at Pipeline on that day. Does anyone know if there were any reports of unusually strong currents or high waves? I know it's a renowned spot, but also notoriously dangerous. I've read about experienced surfers getting caught off guard there. Maybe those conditions could have played a bigger role than we're aware of? Just speculating here; any insights would be great.
