I’ve been thinking a lot about Daniel Edward Fowler, especially how his life was tragically cut short just as he was stepping into adulthood. It’s so tragic that someone who had just graduated and was ready to embark on a career in construction or welding had that future ripped away. Judging by the way folks in his community talk about him, he seemed like a genuinely caring person who valued helping others. Seeing that fundraiser for his funeral expenses was heartbreaking. It's both heartwarming and sorrowful to see people come together after such a senseless act. I wish we had more answers about what happened that night. It’s scary, knowing that this wasn’t an isolated incident, given the number of homicides during that stretch in Birmingham. Please, if anyone out there has any information, even if it seems minor, consider reaching out to the authorities. It's crucial for Daniel's family and friends, who are undoubtedly trying to navigate through this devastating loss, to have some closure and justice. Rest in peace, Daniel.
