Has anyone else noticed how understaffing and overcrowding seem to play a huge role in these tragic incidents? It's really concerning to hear about what happened to David Sloan and the other inmates at Donaldson Correctional Facility earlier in 2022. It makes me wonder if there's enough being done to prevent such violence. This case, like many others, points to systemic issues that need urgent addressing. The correctional officers must be overwhelmed, and it's difficult to imagine how those inside the facility, including other inmates, feel living in such an environment. My heart goes out to Sloan's family, who must be going through so much right now. It's crucial that the safety of everyone, even those incarcerated, is prioritized. Does anyone have updates on what measures, if any, are being implemented to address these problems?
