Has anyone else noticed a pattern with missing persons cases where the family thinks the person might be living off the grid or using an alias? In Richard's case, it's like he vanished into thin air after leaving the Medford Airport. The abandoned truck near the Rogue River is baffling, especially since it's not exactly close to any major off-grid communities where he might have relocated. I'm curious if there's anyone local to the Gold Hill area who might have seen someone matching Richard's description or perhaps noticed anything unusual around the time the rental truck was found. Sometimes it's the smallest detail that ends up being crucial. Thoughts?

Has anyone else noticed how often rental vehicles seem to pop up in these missing person cases? It’s almost like they're a common thread linking a lot of these disappearances. With Richard's case, the fact that the truck was found abandoned near an access point to the Rogue River has me thinking – could this be a strategic move, or was it just a convenient spot to leave the vehicle? Also, the idea of going "off grid" has always intrigued me. Do you think it's a plausible explanation? I saw a case a few years back where the person did successfully live off the grid for a while using various aliases. I just wonder how easy that truly is in today’s world, with technology making it increasingly difficult to stay under the radar. What's everyone else's take?
