I’ve been following Sherman Cornette’s case closely and can’t stop thinking about the fact that charges were dropped against the suspect after initially being charged with his murder. It’s unsettling to imagine how his family and friends must feel, first having a possible sense of closure and then facing the uncertainty all over again. It makes me wonder about the evidence that led to the initial arrest—was it circumstantial, or did they really have something? I really hope the community continues to step up with any information that could lead to justice, because it sounds like the investigators need all the help they can get. Hoping for answers soon for Sherman’s loved ones.
