Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Anthony Decola's tragic passing at the Motel 6 in Homewood back in April 2021. I keep thinking about how quickly a disagreement can spiral out of control. It’s so sad to think that something as simple as a verbal altercation can escalate to such a devastating end. In times like these, it's crucial for communities to come together and focus on conflict resolution and mental health resources. Even though justice has been served with Devonta Ephraim's conviction, it doesn’t bring Anthony back or ease the pain for his loved ones. It's just such a reminder that we all need to be more aware of how quickly things can turn tragic and the importance of community support and outreach. Sending all the support I can to the Decola family during this difficult time. It’s important that Anthony is remembered for the person he was, not just the circumstances of his passing. ?
