I can't stop thinking about how much Nakeshia seemed to touch the lives of her students and colleagues at Midfield High School. As a paraprofessional in special education, she must have brought so much compassion and patience to her role. Working in education is not easy, and doing so while raising two young children speaks volumes about her strength and commitment. It's clear she had a deep impact on those around her. My heart goes out to those students who might be struggling to understand why someone who cared for them so much is no longer there. I hope the school can provide support to her students during such a difficult time.
