I was re-reading about Rackita Smalls' case today and something that really stood out to me is the fact that both she and Iroquois Alston were shot in a parked car. It makes me wonder if this was planned or if they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The idea that someone might have been watching them or knew they'd be there sends chills down my spine. The randomness of it all is terrifying. I can't even begin to imagine how Rackita's family feels, knowing that these questions have gone unanswered for so long. With advancements in forensic technology over the years, I genuinely hope something new will come to light to give her and Iroquois' families the peace they deserve. If anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please step forward. It's been too long, and they deserve answers.
