I’ve been following the case of little Amari Ruffin, and it just breaks my heart to think about what that poor baby went through. One thing that's been really weighing on me is the importance of our community in situations like these. After reading about the autopsy revealing prior injuries, it made me realize how crucial it is for us to be more observant and proactive. Sometimes, speaking up about something that seems off in a child’s life could potentially save them. I really hope this case makes people more aware and encourages them to report any suspicious behavior or signs of abuse. We all need to be a voice for those who can’t speak up for themselves. My thoughts are with Amari’s loved ones during this unbearable time.
