Has anyone looked into the timeline between Rick leaving his friend's workplace and when he was reported missing? It seems like a long gap—over two weeks. I'm wondering if there was any sign of him during that time. Maybe he was in contact with someone else or stayed with someone? I know sometimes things might initially seem like someone just needed time away, but does anyone have info on what Rick's routine was like or if it was common for him to not check in with family for extended periods? Hoping some new developments come to light soon.

I recently came across Rick Simmons' case and noticed something curious about the timeline. If he was last seen on April 29, 2002, leaving a friend's job in Atlanta, why did it take until May 15 for his family to report him missing? That's over two weeks! I'm not implying anything, but it's a bit unusual for such a delay unless the family thought everything was fine initially or maybe there was some lack of daily contact usual for their family. Does anyone else know if there's been any follow-up on why it took that long, like any family statements or investigators' insights into those missing days? It seems like figuring out the reason for this gap could be key to understanding more about his disappearance. Would love to hear any thoughts or additional info anyone might have.
