Does anyone else find it particularly chilling how long it took to identify Ruben Ortiz-Gutierrez? It's 1998 when his body is discovered, and it takes until 2005 to put a name to him because of advancements in fingerprint technology. Imagine his family and friends all those years without answers, not knowing where he was or what happened. I think this highlights just how critical forensics can be in cases like this. It also makes me wonder about others who might still be unidentified due to limited technology back in the day. It's a tough situation, and my heart goes out to Ruben's loved ones who are still waiting for justice. I hope anyone with information will come forward to help bring some closure.
