Hey everyone, just stumbled across this case and thought I’d throw in my two cents about these tragic avalanche events. It makes you think how crucial it is to have the right gear and knowledge when venturing into the backcountry. I noticed that Jeremy and the others had avalanche airbags and beacons, which makes me wonder about the effectiveness of this equipment in such extreme conditions. Does anyone have insights or personal experiences with this kind of safety gear? Would love to hear from those familiar with avalanche safety and what steps we can take when planning such high-risk adventures. It's a harsh reminder, but maybe discussing it can help someone down the line. Stay safe out there, everyone!
