Hey everyone,
I've been following Dan's case closely and something has been bothering me. Has anyone else considered the possibility that Dan might have ventured off the marked trails on Mt. Lemmon? It’s easy to get sidetracked there, especially if you’re exploring or looking for a more secluded spot. As an avid hiker myself, I've seen how quickly things can get unpredictable once you stray from the paths.
I wonder if the search teams have concentrated only on the established routes or if they've expanded beyond them? If Dan was experienced, he might have underestimated the terrain off the beaten track. Maybe it’s worth looking into areas that are less obvious or accessible. Thoughts? Anyone familiar with Mt. Lemmon and can chime in on this?
Hoping for any updates soon.
Take care,

Hey everyone, I came across something about Dan's case that’s been on my mind. I remember that Mt. Lemmon's summit trailhead, where they found his car, is known for tricky weather conditions, especially during spring when things can change rapidly. Those sudden changes can catch even experienced hikers off guard. I'm curious if anyone local knows if there were any unusual weather patterns that day? It might not be much, but weather can play a big part in how a search is conducted or why someone might go off course. Any insights from folks familiar with hiking in that area?
