I've been following the case of James Lenell Jamison, and I find myself thinking about how the community must be reeling from this tragedy. A double shooting in broad daylight at such a busy intersection — it just hits too close to home for many. I can't help but wonder about the neighborhood around 40th and Chambers. Has anyone here noticed if the area feels different since the incident? Are there any community efforts or initiatives that have started up in response to the shooting? In times like these, it's essential to see how people support each other. My heart goes out to James's loved ones and the other victim still recovering. I truly hope the investigation progresses swiftly, and justice is served.
I’ve been following the case from September 22, 2017, and it’s just so distressing. There’s been a lot of talk about the shooting at 40th and Chambers, but one thing that keeps coming back to me is the circumstances around that area. Does anyone know if there were any reported issues or disturbances there before this tragic event? It seems like such a random and sudden violence.
I can’t help but think about James Jamison's family and the community that supports them. Losing someone so suddenly must be incredibly difficult, especially when it feels like there are more questions than answers. I'm hoping that with increased vigilance and community support, the MPD can get to the bottom of what happened and bring some justice for James and the other victim. Sending my thoughts to everyone who’s trying to piece together the events of that day.
