Did anyone else see that recent documentary about unsolved arson cases? It got me thinking about Frederick Wells Sr.'s case again. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his loved ones must feel with this ongoing mystery. It’s beyond unsettling to think that someone deliberately took his life and then set his home on fire to try to erase evidence. The fact that the person responsible is still out there must be unbearable for the family. I've been wondering if there were ever any advancements in forensic arson investigation techniques that could be applied to this case. Sometimes, older cases benefit from new technology—like how DNA has solved so many cold cases. It makes me hopeful that there might be some sort of breakthrough here too. If anyone has family or friends in law enforcement, maybe you could mention this? It could spark interest in re-examining the evidence with fresh eyes.
