I’ve been thinking a lot about the Curtis Overton case recently, especially with how active he was in our community. It's so devastating to think that someone who dedicated so much time to helping others could meet such a violent and senseless end. I clearly recall seeing Curtis at local events, always going out of his way to support causes and bring people together. It's baffling that, to this day, there's so little information about his murder, and that just makes his loss feel even more profound. I can't help but wonder if there might be someone, even in passing at those events or in the Camelot Boulevard area, who saw something that night but didn't think it was important enough to report. It's crucial for us, as a community, to come forward with anything, no matter how minor it might seem, in case it helps law enforcement connect the dots. To Curtis’s family and friends, my heart goes out to each of you. It must be incredibly difficult to live with the absence of answers. I sincerely hope that new technological advances or a courageous tipsters will eventually bring justice for Curtis and provide some semblance of peace for those who loved him.

I was thinking about Curtis Overton's case and how it must be so painful for his loved ones to live without answers. It's baffling how a beloved figure in the community could be taken from us like that without anyone stepping forward with information. Has anyone here ever experienced something like this before – a case so quiet and yet so obviously impactful? It makes me wonder if there's fear or mistrust keeping people from coming forward. If only there was a way to reassure potential witnesses that their voices are crucial and that justice for Curtis could also bring healing for the community. Sending warmth to all who cherished him and hoping for a break in the case soon.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Curtis Overton’s community involvement and his positive influence on so many lives in Chesapeake. It's genuinely tragic that such a well-loved member of the community had his life ended so abruptly and without resolution. Curtis was active in local initiatives and always willing to lend a helping hand, which just adds to the confusion about why anyone would target him. I find myself wondering if his activity and visibility in the community could provide a clue. Was there anyone new who seemed unusually interested in Curtis or his projects in the weeks leading up to his death? It’s a long shot, I know, but sometimes these small details can be significant. It's important for us to keep talking and sharing anything we might remember, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. Curtis’s family deserves closure, and the community needs to feel safe again. Please, if you know something, reach out. Every tip could lead us one step closer to justice for Curtis.
