I've been following the case of the missing person who was last seen at the ABTECH shelter after Hurricane Helene. Something that's really intrigued me is their choice of living situation before disappearing. They were reportedly living in the woods behind the shelter. It gets me wondering about the conditions they were enduring and what might have driven them to such a secluded lifestyle. Was it a personal choice to seek solitude, or were there other factors at play that made them feel safer there than in more populated areas? If anyone has insights about life living off the grid like that, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Could their lifestyle have contributed to the difficulties in locating them? Or maybe someone from the local community interacted with them and noticed something unusual? Any ideas or info would be appreciated!

I’ve been following the case of the missing person last seen at the ABTECH shelter after Hurricane Helene and something is really bugging me. Has anyone looked into the possibility of them finding alternative routes or methods of survival in the woods they were living in? I wonder if they might have had a routine or specific spots they visited regularly. It’s been known that those with experience in outdoor survival can stay under the radar much longer than expected. I’m curious if anyone local to the area might have noticed any unusual activity or signs of a makeshift camp in the vicinity? Maybe former or current residents of the shelter could shed light on any connections or hints about their plans?
