It's been decades since Michael Lazich was tragically taken from us, and my thoughts are with his family as they continue to seek justice and closure. I was reading about his case again and something struck me—how in the world did no one come forward if it happened at a corner store? I mean, even late at night, you'd think someone would have seen or heard something more than just the gunshots. Was it really that deserted around Mittman and Vine at that hour? Or was there some kind of fear or intimidation that kept people from speaking up? It makes me wonder if the atmosphere in that area back then contributed to the sense of isolation in this case. Sending strength to those still hoping for answers.
