A shop owner is shot and killed Michael Lazich, aged 39, was shot and killed on February 21, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas. Lazich was closing his convenience store, located at the corner of Mittman and Vine Streets, when the incident occurred. According to reports, three gunshots were heard as Lazich was locking up the store, and he was found fatally shot in the head.
