I've been following Stacia Edwards' case closely, and what's been on my mind lately is the role the community can play in these tragic situations. I’ve been thinking about that poor boy who found Stacia Edwards' body on his way to the bus stop. I can't imagine how traumatic that must have been for him and his friend. Being so young and stumbling upon something so tragic could impact someone for life. My heart genuinely goes out to them as well as to Stacia's family. I hope over the years they've managed to find the help and support they might have needed. It's these unexpected connections in cases like this that often get overlooked, but they’re essential parts of the story that also deserve our compassion and empathy.
