This case has been weighing on my mind, especially thinking about Maria Gonzalez and how terrifying it must have been for her during that moment. It's just so difficult to imagine the fear she must have felt, being eight months pregnant and witnessing her husband attacked right in front of their home. The bravery it took for her to come to the door and then be threatened by someone claiming to be police is just so unsettling. My thoughts are with Maria and her children—I can't even begin to comprehend the level of loss they’ve experienced. With Crime Stoppers and HPD pushing for tips, I really hope someone is able to come forward with information that can start to bring justice for Gerino. Justice needs to be served, not just for him, but for the loved ones he left behind.
