I've been doing a lot of reading about unsolved cases, and the murder of Corey Lewis really stands out to me. It's deeply unsettling how a young life was cut short in a time where crime rates were surging—Corey was just 19. What hits me is the timing and place of the incident, and I can’t help but wonder about the circumstances that night on South Gessner Road. Did Corey happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or was there something more premeditated behind it? The fact that police are still seeking information means there's hope for this case yet. I sincerely hope someone out there has the courage to come forward with information. My heart goes out to Corey's loved ones; they deserve answers after all these years. This case is a stark reminder of how widespread and pervasive the issue of gun violence was—and, unfortunately, still is—in so many communities. I hope the Houston PD and supportive community efforts can eventually shed light on this case.

I've been following Corey Lewis's case for a while, and it just absolutely floors me that it's still unsolved after all these years. I can't even imagine what his family has gone through, not having any answers or closure. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for them. One thing that sticks out to me is how overwhelmed the Houston PD must have been back in 2008 with all those violent crimes happening. It feels like cases like Corey’s just got swept under the rug because there were so many others. I really hope that someone out there who knows something finds it in their heart to come forward. Justice for Corey is long overdue, and his family deserves to know what happened that night. If anyone in this forum has any insights or theories, please share. Keeping Corey’s story alive might just help bring new attention to his case. ?
