Robert James Hancock, aged 58, tragically passed away on November 12, 2016, in Pinellas Park, Florida. His death occurred at the Showtime Speedway, where he drove his 2015 Chevrolet Malibu onto the track after a race. Witnesses reported that Hancock reached a high speed before veering off the road and coming to a stop in the mangroves near the drag strip.
