Hey everyone, I've been following the Wilburn "Lil Wil" White Jr. case for a while, and I recently came across some info about the Cold Case Unit handling his file. It honestly makes me think about the sheer number of cases these detectives have on their plates. It's overwhelming. Imagine being the one detective trying to bring closure to hundreds of families—it seems like such an immense responsibility. Does anyone here know more about how they prioritize which cases get revisited? I suppose new DNA technology can offer hope, but it feels frustrating knowing how long it can take for a case like Wil's to get the attention it needs to move forward. I'm curious if community involvement or public interest can help push a case up the priority list. Any insights on how we, as a community, can help bring more attention to Wilburn's case or support his family? It's painful to think of them waiting years without answers. Hoping for justice one day soon.
