Has anyone seen or heard updates on the weather conditions around Low Island when Robert went missing? I've read a few reports suggesting that Sitka Sound can be really unpredictable with sudden storms. I’m wondering if that played a role in the unfortunate capsizing of the F/V Awakin. It makes me think about the safety measures in place for fishing vessels in that area. Does anyone know if there have been similar incidents around there before? It’s so concerning how things can change so quickly out on the water. Hoping for some insight from locals or those familiar with this region. Stay safe, everyone.
