Does anyone else find it strange that the shooter felt comfortable enough to return to the "Slab Sunday" gathering after the incident? It's terrifying to think about how the person responsible could just blend back into the crowd without anyone noticing or alerting the authorities. It makes you wonder if they knew the area or the people there well enough to feel safe doing so. My thoughts go out to Saida's friends and family—it must be incredibly difficult not having answers and knowing the person who did this might still be out there. If anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please come forward. Saida and her loved ones deserve justice.
Hey everyone,
I just can't get this Saida Cantu case out of my mind lately. I've been thinking a lot about how unpredictable life can be. One moment you're enjoying your time with friends, and in a split second, everything changes. Saida was simply out for what should've been a fun night at Slab Sunday, surrounded by people sharing the same passion for cars, yet an argument turned deadly.
What bothers me the most is how the shooter went back to the gathering, like nothing happened. It’s chilling to think they might’ve been mingling with others, acting normal, after taking someone's life. This small detail sends shivers down my spine. Someone must have seen something that night. It’s a small community, and someone knows more than they’re letting on.
If anyone here has any ties to Houston or was around during that time, even at Slab Sunday events, please come forward with anything you might know, no matter how insignificant it might seem. The Cantu family deserves closure, at the very least. It's up to the community to stand up and not let this violence go unanswered.
Thinking of Saida and her loved ones who lost her far too soon. Hoping for justice and peace for them.
Stay safe out there, folks.
Has anyone else thought about the significance of "Slab Sunday" in this case? It's such a tragic turn of events for Saida and her friends that their night ended this way. I was just reflecting on how events like these can go from being a fun community gathering to something so dangerous in the blink of an eye. It’s deeply upsetting to think that someone out there might know what happened that night but has chosen to remain silent. If you were there or know anyone who was, please, for Saida’s family’s sake, encourage them to come forward with whatever information they have. Every detail could be vital in bringing justice for Saida. They deserve answers and closure during such a traumatic time.
