Has anyone else given thought to the lack of surveillance footage inside the You Know Sports Bar? It’s baffling to think that a busy bar didn’t have cameras in 2010, especially knowing the importance of such footage in solving crimes. I mean, what year are we living in? Not having that critical footage probably set the investigation back quite a bit. Relying on neighboring security systems must have been a nightmare given the timing and angles that likely missed crucial moments.
It’s so frustrating to think that this lack of video evidence might be one of the reasons justice hasn't been served for Bernabe and his family. I can't imagine how hard it must be for them to not have all the pieces of the puzzle, especially when something as simple (and expected) as functioning cameras could have provided so many answers. Hopefully, technological advancements since then mean other establishments have learned from this, but it doesn't help in Bernabe's case. If anyone from the bar or neighboring businesses remembers anything, however small, it might still make a huge difference. My thoughts are with the Maldonado family—may they eventually find the answers they deserve.
Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the devastating night at the You Know Sports Bar. It really struck me how bold and terrifying the attackers were, not just for Bernabe but for everyone present. It makes me wonder why the bar had no surveillance cameras inside. In this day and age, especially in a busy city area, it's surprising how some businesses might not have this basic security setup. It could have been groundbreaking for the investigation. Did the bar have any previous incidents that might have prompted installing them, or was adding cameras after this tragedy considered? My heart goes out to Bernabe's loved ones who are still searching for answers all these years later. Hopefully, continued community attention can reignite this case and lead to justice. Stay safe, everyone, and keep discussing—sometimes all it takes is one small piece of new information to turn things around.
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say that the lack of surveillance footage from inside You Know Sports Bar baffles me and seems like such a lost opportunity in the investigation into Bernabe Maldonado's murder. It's so frustrating to think about how crucial those lost moments could have been. But big shoutout to the local businesses nearby—it's heartening to know they stepped up to help by sharing any footage they might have had. Imagine trying to piece together such a chaotic scene from neighboring cameras. If anyone else is from the San Antonio area, you know how crowded and busy Bandera is, right? I just hope there’s a break in the case soon so his family can get the answers they desperately need.
Thinking of Bernabe and his loved ones today. ??
