Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the timing of the tragic incident involving Juan Jaimes-Martinez. It happened at 8:50 p.m.—right when he was enjoying a simple evening at home with his family, just playing dominoes. It's just so unsettling to think that this family gathering, which should've been a safe, comfortable space, was turned into a scene of violence.
What’s perplexing—aside from the obvious tragedy—is that the perpetrator struck when the door was open. It makes me wonder if the suspect had been watching the house or knew the habits of the people there. I can't even begin to imagine how Jaimes-Martinez's family must be feeling, knowing that someone invaded their safe haven in such a brutal way.
I'm hoping anyone who knows more details or might have seen something will come forward. It’s important for the community and for Juan's family to find some answers and hopefully some peace.
