On June 16, 2015, Juan Jaimes-Martinez, aged 43, was shot and killed during a home invasion in southeast Houston, Texas. The incident took place around 8:50 p.m. while Jaimes-Martinez was playing dominoes with family members at his home on the 5100 block of Northridge. The front door was open when an unknown man entered and opened fire, striking Jaimes-Martinez in the head. He died at the scene.
