It's been a while since Thomas Cox was tragically taken from us, and I often find myself reflecting on how senseless this act was. It’s so difficult to comprehend how something so routine as closing up a food truck could end in such tragedy. I remember reading how Thomas was known for his kindness and always seemed to form friendships with his customers. Makes you wonder if the culprits knew him or if this was just a random, heartless act. Something that's been on my mind is the apparent lack of camera footage or eyewitnesses. It's hard to believe that in such a busy city, with people often out and about, no one saw anything? It raises questions about the level of security and street lighting in that area. I hope the community can come together to create a safer environment so that something like this doesn't happen again. My thoughts go out to his family and everyone who cared for him. It’s important we keep this case alive in conversations so that justice can eventually be served. Anyone with even the slightest information should feel compelled to step forward.
