I’ve been following John Benford’s case closely and have a curiosity about the route he took. Does anyone know how well he knew the area between Cleburne and Splendora? I'm wondering if he might have taken any backroads instead of sticking to the main highways. Being from a rural area myself, I know plenty of locals who sometimes prefer less traveled paths to avoid traffic or save time, even if it’s a bit of a detour. With the severe flooding mentioned, I'm thinking maybe an unexpected road condition could have played a part. It could be worth looking into if there are any spots along potential backroad routes that could've been impacted by the flooding around the time he was last seen. Just a thought!

Hey everyone, I've been going over the details of John Bradley Benford's case and something that's been nagging at me is the timing of his last known stop. He was spotted at a Chevron in New Waverly, which is a bit out of the way if he was headed to Splendora from Cleburne—definitely not the most direct route. Does anyone know if he had connections in New Waverly? Like, could he have been visiting someone, or did he make that stop regularly for some reason? The footage showing him at the gas station seems so ordinary, yet that's the last time we know for sure where he was. It's baffling how there hasn't been any trace of him or his car, especially with such extensive searches. Just hoping putting heads together might spark some new ideas for where to focus next... Every detail could count! Keep your thoughts coming. ?
