I recently came across Lamar Hughs' story, and I can't stop thinking about his sister, Michelrica, and how she's turned her pain into purpose. Founding Gideon's Army must have been such an emotional journey for her. It takes an immense amount of strength to channel grief into activism, especially when confronting deep-rooted issues like systemic inequality and violence. Rasheedat Fetuga teaming up with Michelrica shows the power of community coming together to fight injustices. The focus on restorative justice and breaking the school-to-prison pipeline is so essential. I’m curious about their approach to community engagement and how they’re involving local young people in these discussions. Sending thoughts of support to Michelrica, Rasheedat, and everyone involved in Gideon's Army. Their work is inspiring and undoubtedly making a difference in Nashville. Anyone else following this and have insights on the latest efforts by Gideon’s Army?
