I recently stumbled upon a cold case forum thread discussing Fidel Stem's tragic story. One thing that really stands out to me is the location. I used to live not too far from there, and it’s hard to imagine such violence happening in what many considered a quiet pocket of north Nashville. It’s been eight years since that terrible night, and I can't believe the case still hasn't been resolved. It makes me wonder about the impact of the crime scene—were there camera feeds from nearby businesses, or maybe even private security systems from residences that weren't properly reviewed? My heart goes out to Fidel’s family, who must be desperate for closure after all this time. I hope the Cold Case Unit's use of advanced forensic tech can uncover some new leads. If anyone reading this has any knowledge or insight into Fidel's case, or knows someone who lived around Formosa and 23rd Ave N back in 2015, please come forward. Even the smallest detail could make a big difference in getting justice for Fidel.
