Hey everyone, Has anyone dug into the church connection in Tom Starkel's case? I keep thinking about how his grandfather was the pastor at the First Assembly of God, and it makes me wonder if anyone from the church had any info that was never shared. Sometimes communities, especially close-knit ones like a church, can hold secrets or maybe even unintentionally overlook stuff that could be helpful. I know it's been years, but maybe someone in that circle saw or heard something back then that didn’t seem significant. Would be curious to hear any thoughts or theories around this angle. Let's keep the discussion going!

I came across Tom Starkel’s case recently and find it so puzzling how things unfolded with that Firebird and Craig Moore. The car turning up being driven from Nevada back to California seems like it should’ve been a huge break in the case. I mean, you’d think finding a piece of Tom’s clothing and a gun would have been enough to crack things open, right? But Moore just walked. Does anyone have any insight on why the evidence wasn’t enough to hold him longer? Seems so frustrating for Tom’s family. Also, does anyone know if Moore was questioned at any other point after his release? Feels like there are still so many questions without answers. If anyone has further details or theories, please share. Especially if you’re familiar with how those investigations went back then.

I’ve been following Tom Ray Starkel’s case for a while and can’t stop thinking about his dark green Pontiac Firebird. It seems odd to me that the car was found being driven from Nevada back into California just two weeks after he disappeared. Does anyone know if there was any investigation into what Moore was doing in Nevada? I mean, Nevada is a huge stretch of territory. Could there have been someone else involved who lived there, or were there any significant stops along that route that could tie into Tom’s disappearance? With Moore having Tom’s jacket and a fired gun, I feel like something might have happened out of state that hasn't fully come to light. Curious if anyone has stumbled across more details about Moore’s activities around that time. Always hoping for a breakthrough.
